Too Little Eating And Weight Gain Rock!!

Posted on: September 16, 2008

If you are a starvee (you believe not eating is great to lose weight) or a meal skipper then get ready to pack some more kilos. Yep, starvation and meal skipping makes you put on weight. Studies have shown that eating too little, programs your body to store fat. The brain recognizes the minimal food it is getting and signals the body to store as much as fat as possible for the rainy day. So you eat less and you put on more. Now if you have already been on a starvation diet then here’s a reversal diet. Eat more, yes munch, munch. Eating as many as 5-6 small meals a day can boost your metabolism and energy levels by 50 percent.

Confusion over a small meal eh? Quite a common lookup. Just keep it simple, divide your 3 main meals into 6 small meals. For instance your breakfast comprising of 2eggs, 2 slices of bread and1 glass of milk can be reduced in quantity to half, where you can eat the rest of the portion in 3 hours from the breakfast. So just turn around a few things and play a little with the calories, it’s a piece of cake.

This is pretty damn true—but lets not forget that “starvees” such as anorexic people obviously have the weight-loss covered. You should be more precise—meal-skipping can (not always, but CAN) cause weight gain.

But obviously starvation doesn’t.
Example: The Anorexic, Poor Children in Africa.
