Berry Sweet

The pleasure of eating a dessert after your meal is truly scrumptious. You have to agree with me, a complete meal ends with a dessert. But with the calorie suspicion always lurking around, the sweet tooth needs to be kept at bay. Well i have a great dessert idea that is low in calories, rich in antioxidants and a delight for the sweet toothed. All you need are some berries to make your dessert. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries pickup which ever ones you like. Add a few to a cup of low fat yogurt, stew them or eat them plain, they are low on fat and high on nutrients.

  • 1 cup strawberries- 53 calories
  • 1 cup raspberries- 64 calories
  • 1 cup blueberries- 83 calories
  • 1 cup blackberries- 75 calories
  • 1 cup cranberries- 46 calories

They are power packed with antioxidants and vitamins to give you that cherry glow and to sweeten your meal endings.
